I have been a Travel Consultant for over
six years and love the industry. I enjoy
learning about new places; the geography, history, culture and the food.
I have had many opportunities to visit
some exciting destinations. I am originally from Newfoundland and one of my
most memorable trips was touring St.John‘s
and the Avalon Peninsula. It was great fun to be a tourist in your own
province. I have travelled to most Canadian
Provinces. A few years ago, I took the Rocky Mountaineer- a journey of a
I have visited most US states from here to
Florida- Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia. I’ve also visited New Orleans, Louisiana; New York City;
Seattle, Washington; Raleigh, North Carolina and Chicago, Illinois.
Mexico is one of my favourite Caribbean
destinations, having visited there 6 or 7 times- Cancun
and Mayan Riviera, Manzanillo, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta.
Other Caribbean locations include: El Salvador, Panama, Costa Rica, Dominican
Republic, Cuba, Jamaica, St. Lucia, and Antigua.
To celebrate a birthday, I travelled to Morocco. This journey included staying
in a Bedouin camp, riding a camel, cooking tagine and attending a Hammam.
Most recently, my concentration has turned
to Europe as I cannot get enough of the history and culture.
I’ve done a bus tour through Italy, river cruises on the Seine from Paris to Normandy, and the Rhine
from Basel to Amsterdam. I’ve spent Christmas in Barcelona and lastly visited Malta.
My most recent adventure was London, England. A couple of places on my to-do list would be to explore
the Croatia extensively and parts of
Asia such as Thailand and Cambodia.
I believe that travel enriches and educates and
has opened my mind to new thoughts and ideas. I am always looking forward to
and planning the next journey
